Is it normal to stay at home all the time without doing anything?

In this period, many people say that despite staying at home with lots of spare time, they are not able to do enough of the things they need to do, they could not spend this spare time as they wanted, focus on the books they have wanted to read for a long time or watch the movies they have been wondering for long. There is a reason why so many people state the same thing. As mentioned before, we are going through very unusual times and we accept or not, this is a traumatic process. In such crisis periods (wars, disasters, earthquakes, armed conflicts, pandemics, migration, etc.), people cannot concentrate on their jobs or hobbies enough. We may have spent our whole usual lives full of activities, but it is natural for us to feel in a vacuum and be able do nothing during times of crisis. So, there is no point in blaming ourselves. Even though it is difficult, it is important to try to spend this time by resting and to consider it as an opportunity to stay alone with ourselves. When we stay with ourselves and listen to our minds, even being unconsciously, we may realize how artificial our have-to-does and everyday troubles. Perhaps this may become the beginning of a period in which we will establish a more peaceful relationship with ourselves for the post-pandemic period.
